Andrew Moor’s new book ‘Colours
of Architecture’
will show how easily colour glass
and architecture can work together to create dynamic
new environments, both internally and externally.
Available
now, the book covers, fritted glass, screen-printed
glass, enamelled glass, film on glass, digitally printed
film, coloured laminated glass, dichroic glass, holographic
glass and so on. This is a study of the art of glass;
nearly 400 pictures showing what artists and architects
have achieved working together to bring colour to the
fabric of buildings. Architects like Herzog de Meuron,
Jean Nouvel, Sauerbruch & Hutton and others are
featured.
Glass
is the medium of the era. This book shows how much of
its potential is still to be exploited.
